Fiona De Los Rios

Originally from San José, California, I am a recent UO graduate (Class of ’19) and alumna of CRL. I am passionate about social justice, with a particular interest in mass incarceration, Native politics, immigration, queer theory, and environmental justice. After teaching English in France for a year, I am now pursuing a legal profession with my sights set on public defense and legal aid work. CRL was fundamental to my undergraduate experience because it allowed me to form community with antiracist women scholars at the university. It was very meaningful for me to find such a supportive space that fostered critical analysis with brilliant people.
